Re: [A-List] Hudson Super Imperialism Seminar
Dear Chris, etc.
One of the benefits of a seminar on Super Imperialism is for me to see what the READER finds important. Writing a book is like performing a piano sonata. the writer/performer really has no idea what the response will be, and whether he/she has communicate what they MEAN to communicate.
That's why I don't want to lead the witness. I often find that what people seize upon to take off on is not the point I intended, for better or worse -- sometimes better.
I could do a better job with my trade and development textbook.
