Re: [A-List] US Imperialism: Scapegoating China

The solution is rather simple. Pass a US law to rewuire US companies
which manufacture in China to adopt a minimum wage policy matching the
purchasing power parity equivalent of US minimum wage.
Scapegoating is the official American ideology that hides the imperial ideology of "the other" and "my right" to take from you what every I want. The wealth of our country is based on looting, murder and all kinds of criminal acts in high and low places.
No one today and most certainly America, has to loot anyone to provide for the well being of the peoples of our country. Taking "oil" or arguing over currency has nothing to do with the job loss and growing hunger in America. There is enough food for everyone. If I do not have money for gas in my car, taking someone else oil does not solve the problem for me.
The solution to our problems are to be found in America and not China. The loss and increasing loss of a century old privilege status of the peoples of America, is going to be a hard school of knocks. Blaming the victim has been our national past time for decades. The solution is political and resides in the halls of Congress and the White House. If our government can spend $400 billion a year on the military machine and refuse to say where the money comes from and why cannot be spent on the survival of the working class, then it cannot turn around and say there is no money for our basic needs.
The peoples of America are caught in the vice grip of survival and being cast into the ocean of poverty little by little. Some are threading water, while others are drowning and still others have escape rafts. The ideological doctrines and the shape of Marxism of the last era will not allow any of us to survive. The communistic workers - not so much the "Marxists" and socialist who tend to be stuck in the survival of an era gone by, need to be made aware of why and how the currents of the ocean of capital have changed; why the technological revolution is the social revolution and why we need a political response based on our class needs.
It is immoral for any person or group of persons to own water distribution. Water is a socially necessary item of survival - the local pizza joint is not. Communism means distribution of "socially necessary products" on the basis of needs. Medical care is a "socially necessary" survival need. Hair transplants and face lifts are not. Basic foodstuff is a "socially necessary" survival need and no individuals or groups of individuals should own the food supply. None of these things should be operated on the basis of private benefit to anyone or the principle of free market profit.
I am not a hater or against money. The problem is not the money but allowing people to own socially necessary means of survival.
Trade imbalance and currency is not the real problem of at least 70 million working people. Taking from each other is not the solution and wars of conquest - looting abroad, will not solve the problem.
Modern communism means no private ownership of socially necessary means of production. The emphasis is on "socially necessary." We need a host of "socially necessary" laws passed in America. If a person desires to own a "Catfish" joint or a "Hair Salon" more power to you.
We have to argue with the peoples of America and point the finger in the right direction. I, of course remember when the finger was pointed at me and any never really owned shit in life. Its time to look in the mirror.
