Yes, that's not what I mean at all. I can see how my carelessness might
cause concern. The fact I was getting at is that the anti-Europeanism that
informs much of US policy at present is driven by the Zionist lobby's
exploitation of the fact of persecution of Jews in Europe up to and
including the Shoah. That George Galloway and Jörg Haider are lumped
together in such a way is to smear Galloway as an anti-semite, and to play
to the anti-Europeanism of the gallery by highlighting that they are both
European. Ridiculous, but effective propaganda nonetheless. The linkage was
made by Michael Gove, a London Times hack with strong links to the Israel
lobby who once wrote a fawning biography of Michael Portillo ("The Future of
the Right"), when Portillo could still be trusted to follow in Thatcher's
footsteps.
