Re: [A-List] Re: Re Iraqi CPs positions

Jim, my brother,

Blackfoots have never been part of the USA. Yours is an independent
nation since subjugated fighting to regain its independence, not a
sessationist movement. The Iraqi Kurds accepted the Baath Party
federation with autonomy. If all sub groups of the Blackfoots want
separate independence, the Blackfoots will be reduced to nothing. That
cannot possibly be progressive. The imperialist West has been
exploiting Arab tribalism and ethnic separatism to control the Third
World. Suppose the women of Blackfoot want independence along the line
of Western women liberation and seek US help to subjugate the Blackfoot
braves. Is that revolutionary? The enemy at this juncture in history is
imperialism, the highest stage of capitalism. All else is secondary.

It is treasonous to advocate sessationist moves. It is one thing to
advocate autonomous status for the Kurd, quite another to advocate an
independent government. They forget the I in ICP.

Henry,

Is this some kind of general Marxist-Leninist axiom or postulate? And
treason against what or whom? If we Blackfoot advocate, as we do, an
independent sovereign state (not some kind of "autonomous zone" within an
overall genocidal system and capitalist nation) how is this "treason" and
against whom? Our idea of "treason" is any kind of sub-national and
sub-sovereign and sub-independent (as in "dependent captive nations") status
within the essentially capitalistic/genocidal frameworks of the "nations"
called the U.S. and Canada; it is a prescription for our total annihilation
and anyone on the "left" advocating this for us is doing the work of the
system they profess to want to help overthrow.
