Well, we were talking about France , not Europe in gnenral.  There is a
different between an error made in an informal post to a list and an
official statement on national TV.  At any rate, my error in math did
not invalidate my argument.  The same cannot be said about that of Hubbard.

And if that is the worst on my shortcomings, I thank you for the tacit
aproval.

This list has many great aspects, but people here are better
than most at spinning facts to suit their purpose.  For instance
Henry's recent comment about someone he didn't like being guilty
of poor basic maths skills.  While earlier he neglected a simple
calculation by multiples of 10 because it made his argument
sound better.
