One of my students
just came up to me this morning and handed me a cartoon strip called
"Non-Sequitur". It is called "The Dawn of Civilized Man" and shows these two
cavemen in a cave and one is painting on the cave wall a picture of two
cavemen, one with a club smashing the other. The other caveman is saying to the
one doing the painting: "No, No, No...First we invent religion to justify our
actions, THEN we invent war."
