Re: [A-List] Turkish Speaker Nullifies U.S. Troop Vote

I agree with Henry. There is more in the No vote of Turkish parliament than
saying no to war. In addition to Kurdish question they also have eyes of
Kirkuk and Mosul oil.

Kurds are the most unfortunate people after the indigenous nations on
continents of Americas and Australia and Dalits of India. They are a nation
by all definitions of a term, yet never had a homeland for a thousand years.
They were promised one by the Allies in the aftermath of WW II.

Will not this list support the Kurd?

Henry said, "The regime change is turning out to be more trouble than it's
worth for US interest."
Yes, but they would still go for the attack. The war or regime change was
hardly suiting US interests even before, without the difficulties arising
now. It is Israel tale-twisting the US to bear all the costs and face loss
of face but destroy Iraq, the only serious hurdle in her way to dominate the
region.

Bush dim-witted as ever he is least realise that Israel will turn into a
serious head ache for the US, if its not already.

Though the effect is more complication for the US, the Turkish vote is
mainly based on the Kurdish question, not anti-war or atni US policy. The
Kisssinger/Scrowcoft worry is now surfacing. The regime change is turning
out to be more trouble than it's worth for US interest. Every nations is
acting on its self interest to position for a post-war geo-political
landscape.
