A person in UK was sued for printing five pound fake notes. He hired a
sound lawyer and got the lord exchequer in the dock who confessed the
promisery
note printed on the genuine five pound currency notes is not fulfilled if
its bearer demands the worth in gold from the state coffers. The accused was
let to go free but the court noted the ruling the judgement shall not be
quoted in other similar cases.
