Gary, you are deeply confused.

The American system, now in terrible decline, is predicated upon the
plunder of a world that is anything like it.  Far from moralizing, as you
would have it, this list has long attended to understanding this extremely
dangerous historical conjuncture.  It began as Crashlist, believe it or
not.  And many of the things we have seen in the last couple of years were
being fairly accurately predicted well in advance.  That's the value of
depth and rigor.
