Re: [A-List] Fw: RENSE.COM The United States Of America Has Gone Mad

The 9-11 has created such a dust and smoke that most are deprived of the
ability to see and reason plain things. Within hours of the occurrence Bush
said, Ossama ben Ladin and his group has done it. How could one identify
the perpetrartors so soon while ante that was so ill-informed to have
averted such a huge catastrophy before hand.

No effort, at least open to public was made to questions the agencies that
were responsible to avert it. It is quite logical in such circumstances to
check up with the custodians before shouting thief.

Next logical approach would have been, find out who would gain most from it.
Whose stock is on the rise since then?

The US laid the allegation at the door of Taliban and demanded they hand
over Ossama. Taliban very rightly asked for proof of the allegation and
agreed to hand over Ossama to a third party for trial when such is provided.
The US had nothing to do. They threatened to attack and in less than a month
did attack the most devastated and poor country.

Taliban are thrown out, Afghanisatan further devastated and thousands of
Afghans are killed, those Afghans most may not have ever heard names of NY
or Washington.
Ossama is still at large. No one questions.

NOTE: "The reaction to 9/11 is beyond anything Osama bin Laden could have
hoped for in his nastiest dreams."

Before doing that Bush had Britain's Blair and Pakistan's General Musharraf
both lined up. None of the two have come up with any proof to show to their
people for the reason of attacking Afghanistan.

The lie, Ossama did it, was repeated so often that the most shrewed believed
in it. As a first lesson in psy-warfare, you repeat a lie so often that you
yourself start to believe it.

None came out with the argument, if Ossama and his group had the ability to
launch the operation 9-11 and achieve almost complete success, how come they
could not guess its likely consequences and worse, not taking measures to
save own skins.

The same trick is being applied in case of Iraq the second time. Gradually
the world, most of it has started to accept the allegations. Who knows the
same sequence of vice will not be repeated against other countries.

You said, "The United States Of America Has Gone Mad". On the contrary the
world, or its leadership has gone crazy. The United States Of America has
gone GREEDY.

America has entered one of its periods of historical madness, but this is
the worst I can remember: worse than McCarthyism, worse than the Bay of Pigs
and in the long term potentially more disastrous than the Vietnam War.
The reaction to 9/11 is beyond anything Osama bin Laden could have hoped for
in his nastiest dreams. As in McCarthy times, the freedoms that have made
America the envy of the world are being systematically eroded. The
combination of compliant US media and vested corporate interests is once
more ensuring that a debate that should be ringing out in every town square
is confined to the loftier columns of the East Coast press.
The imminent war was planned years before bin Laden struck, but it was he
who made it possible. Without bin Laden, the Bush junta would still be
trying to explain such tricky matters as how it came to be elected in the
first place; Enron; its shameless favouring of the already-too-rich; its
reckless disregard for the world's poor, the ecology and a raft of
unilaterally abrogated international treaties. They might also
have to be telling us why they support Israel in its continuing disregard
for UN resolutions.
But bin Laden conveniently swept all that under the carpet. The Bushies are
riding high. Now 88 per cent of Americans want the war, we are told. The US
defence budget has been raised by another $60 billion to around $360
billion. A splendid new generation of nuclear weapons is in the pipeline, so
we can all
