Tariq,
It is clear that the US has stirred the pot in the
Korean Peninisula becuase it is afraid that the new gorvernment in Seoul and the
Korean people want to come to an accomodation and also want to eject US forces
from Korea. The US has deliberately stirred things up to prevent the loss of
their position there and their ability to threaten not only North Korea but
their main enemy China. I don,t think what they are doing is clumsy. I think it
is has been carefully thought through and carried out to keep everybody
off-balance so they can remain in the peninsula.
