Thanks for joining the A-list and for participating. I have three
suggestions, based on the above..

Firstly, when forwarding messages such as that above you might strip them of
any extraneous material such as previous message recipients. This helps to
reduce clutter and the volume of each message, good for both Hans Ehrbar's
disk space and subscribers using dial-up modems. More generally, I repeat
Mark's earlier encouragement of listers to use plain text format messages
only.

Secondly, it might be worth double-checking certain sources that you
implicitly recommend. For example, from its very promising beginnings the
Emperors' Clothes site is now home to all sorts of off-the-wall
conspiratorialism, and has lately begun publishing pro-Zionist material,
e.g.

written by the same Francisco J. Gil-White lauded by your correspondent.
There are other subscribers here who know far more about the decline of tenc
than I do who would, I am sure, be prepared to share their views if asked.

Thirdly, the A-list is not intended as a bulletin board for leftist
groups -- other lists exist which perform that function. The emphasis here
is upon deeper analysis of the conjuncture, and to that end we have a number
of running themes, subject of course to change, addition and subtraction,
but nonetheless viewed as critical to that deeper understanding we are
striving to achieve. The A-list information page details this:
