[A-List] Popularity of UK Royals falls

Despite every appearance of assistance from the New Labour Government, the
support for the Royal Family has fallen substantially in the UK after a
year of much heartfelt sympathy and affection. Fundamentally this will not
be a problem for Blair's presidential perspectives.

The article from yesterday's Observer shows how the figures are sliding
substantially, without any hint of militant republicanism.

It also suggests a new standard by which the Royal Family is to be judged:
how much work they do! Do their loyal subjects have no respect? Or are they
beginning to forget who is the subject and who is the master, if they start
implicitly suggesting that the labourer should be worthy of his hire, as
measured in hours per week.
