Tariq, just to avoid misunderstanding, the title I gave my post, The War
After Iraq - Is it better for a prince to be loved or feared? - was one I
selected from the body of the article, as an apt characterization of the
article as a whole; it was forwarded as an ironic observation on the
thinking of the upholders of a frenzied brand of realpolitik, that is, those
who are making the decisions within the US oligarchy, and it certainly
didn't reflect how I feel about it. Sir, I agree with almost all of your
response. Otherwise, what would I be doing on this list? And btw does not
fear engender hatred?
In solidarity,
Ralph Johansen
