If he didn't, he clearly ought to have.

The Etruscans, (now that you mention them) offer a cautionary tale about
early developments in Roman Exterminism.
Not to be compared, perhaps,
with the results obtainable and looming today.....in the mature Stage itself
; but still pretty effective.

I fear this coming year will see refinements;
GM dogs of war in Iraq and Palestine ....just to begin a year I think we
will long remember;
