[A-List] Academic life of Mises

There are two interesting books by Philip Mirowski, if my
spelling is correct. I came to know about him after Michael
Perelman mentioned his name on PEN-L about a year ago. These
books are:
"Machine dreams: Economics becomes a Cyborg Science"
"More Heat than Light : Economics as Social Physics,
Physics as Nature's Economics"
I enjoyed both of them a lot and, in my view, both of the books
would be of interest to Marxists, Hayekians, Miseans a the like,
and may be useful in discussing the calculation debate, whether
it is socialist, capitalist and beyond.
