[A-List] US/Saudi tensions

I wanted to chime in with a brief comment on the recent "dust-up" b/w
Michael Keaney and McDonald Stainsby (not that it was so dramatic as a
"dust-up," I suppose). I think all A-List participants and lurkers owe a
significant debt to Michael, not in the least because most of us (myself
included) shamelessly free ride on his tireless efforts to locate and
download critical nuggets from the bourgeois press. The A-List is a
tremendous resource for myself and other non-sectarian radicals interested
in issues of global geoeconomics and geopolitics because it saves us the
time and trouble of having to slog through the New York Times, the
Washington Post, the Guardian, etc. and separate the wheat from the chaff.
Instead of hurling petty barbs, we should be thanking Michael -- not to
speak of contributing something approaching our fair share from time to
time.
