[A-List] FW: "911 and its Meta-Politics" - Steve Martinot (analytical, c 10pp) (fwd)
A quite interesting essay. If nothing else, it lays bare how incomplete our
knowledge about 9-11 is. Some problems:
(1) How credible are the statements about the plane that crashed into the
Pentagon? Is there any counter-evidence that shows a 757 crash is indeed
plausible?
(2) The following sentence strikes me as a fly in the ointment:
"It is willing to commit mass murder to send a message (Hiroshima), and
it is willing to kill Americans to transform or preserve a
certain political climate for its own purposes (the Kennedy
assassination, the King assassination, KAL 7 plane, the Waco
debacle, the assassination and framing of Black Panther Party
leaders, the Operation Tailwind that murdered hundreds of Vietnam
War resisters, etc.)."
It is stated as if there is nothing controversial in assigning the U.S.
government responsibility for the killings of Kennedy and M.L. King.
(3)Are there any citations that back up the following sentence?:
"The re-opening of Afghanistan to produce opium and heroin was requested in
April 2001, the passage of the Patriot Act was drafted in 1991, the
establishment of a Homeland Security Department was first thought
of during the Reagan administration, a second assault on Iraq was
planned in the summer of 2000, and the construction of massive
military bases in central Asia was planned who knows when. "
Patriot act in 1991? "Request" that Afghanistan be re-opened for opium and
heroin production?
Puzzled,
-Frank G.
