[A-List] European Workers Party

I don't know who Morris is but I have been thinking about this:
if I were not on this list and if Mark were not fond of me (and
apparently he is not the only one, if those "nice" personal mails
I keep getting from many people from many a lists I "contribute",
irrespective of whether they are Turkish or foreign, are an
indication) would he remember including Turkey in the above?

Alternatively, why did he feel that he had to say "and Turkey
too" in the above?

I have never been anti-european or anti-american or anti-african
or what have you but I am anti-EU. I don't want my country to
joing EU. Call it a resentment if you like but I never forget
that Italy refused me a visa to go to Taormina to present a
scientific (but unimportant) paper on waves in viscoelastic
materials, nor I forget that stupid English cop at Heathrow who
treated me like a piece of shit when I was drinking a pint of
beer in an evening while waiting for my connecting flight to
Istanbul, nor that fucking Canadian immigration officer in Rome
who tried to give me all the trouble she could when for no
obvious reason I was required to get a visa to go back to where I
came from, as if I was some kind of criminal.

To sum up, you people need to do a lot of convincing to make me
join a European Workers Party.

This may sound "irrational" but this is how I feel. And there is
nothing "rational" about feelings.

Best,
Sabri
