For your information, PKK is the Workers Party of Kurdistan
whereas KADEK is the Freedom and Democracy Congress of Kurdistan,
which was formed at the 8th congress of PKK in April.

EU approach to terrorism weak
Europe has not given enough support to Turkey in its fight
against terrorism and has even been an obstacle at times, the
Deputy Chief of the Turkish General Staff said.
May 28? A senior Turkish officer on Tuesday condemned the
European approach to terrorism after the events of September 11,
saying the response the growing global threat of terrorism has
been weak in content and determination.
Giving a speech on symposium on the developments after the
terrorist attacks against Washington and New York on September
11, and how they related to Turkey, General Yasar Buyukanit, said
it was interesting that Europe had included PKK on its list of
terrorist organisations list after these events.
"Though some European countries have banned the activities of the
terrorist organisations the PKK and KADEK, they continue to give
them some support at various levels. It is not enough to include
organisations on the list, it is necessary to really fight
terrorism," said General Buyukanit, the Deputy Chief of the
Turkish General Staff.
Claiming that Europe was still giving protection to terrorism he
went on to say, "Those people or countries that take the plague
microbe named terrorism into their hands, sooner or later would
meet their destiny rising from this plague microbe."
Europe should give support to Turkey in the international arena,
the General said, adding that Turkey should be at the forefront
to serve as an example
