No doubt you are correct; linguists on public grants
would take ebonics seriously; others laughed up their
sleeve as I recall. Anyway, I don't have a dog in this
fight, it was just a joke. But maybe you can answer
a question for me. Why didn't they have a Miss
Ebonics beauty contest? I heard it was because nobody
