In re my report on the hearings i forgot to mention another tid bit;
the senator running the thing  asks J As [roughly]
- it [you?] has been said that questioning these matters  destroys unity.
do you regard these oversight hearings also as a  threat/desctructin of
unity?
Oh no, you are excercising appropriate and very welcome inquiry.

ps. one after another of the senators cited chapter and verse of not only
threats but already aborgatin of liberty.
